  My husband needs to be seen to get an MRI referral for his back and our long-standing PCP doesn't take our current insurance. As a former employee, I wanted to get him in to Banner, but to my dismay the wait for new patient is 4-6 WEEKS. When I worked for Banner and they were announcing the Health Center plans, their biggest draw was that patients wouldn't have outrageous wait times to be seen by someone, even new patients. Well 4-6 weeks is pretty outrageous. We have just purchased a home literally right down the street from this Heath Center on Crismon and I was considering totally switching PCPs for my entire family to this office, but this experience of just trying to get a timely appointment for my husband has completely turned me off to having myself or any of my family be patients here.
