  After being to this doctors office only 3-4 times in the last 2 months I must say I am very unhappy. This is my third pregnancy and this is my first time having a different doctor at a different practice. I know pretty much what to expect from a doctors office and their staff. Lets just start by saying the front desk lady is terrible. I've watched her answer phone calls and put them on hold for a long time for NO reason. I've also shown up for appointments an hour early just to be seen last. I understand how appointments work, and of course dont expect to be seen first, just because I came in first, but when you're the first appointment scheduled after they come back from break and then you're the 5th person seen, that's just a little ridiculous. Now on to the doctors, I've only met Dr. Mechelke so far and I must say hes very sweet and very informative but lacks very good communication skills. I feel extremely rushed during my visits and have a very hard time expressing my concerns to him. I recently found out that I was to be monitored for SCH, I wasn't informed of this until 2 weeks after they found out. Thankfully it went away, but I've also been trying to get results of my cultures back for 4 weeks! I had to do them twice due to the fact the first time they did the cultures they either lost them or just didn't send them in for results. I've now waited almost another 2 weeks since my last culture, called today and the doctor hasn't even reviewed them yet and now I'm waiting for a call back. My cultures are very important to me due to the fact I'm afraid of a possible infection I need treated immediately in order to keep my baby safe. I fully plan to switch to a different doctor and practice as soon as I have all of my records from this office. I'm extremely upset and do not recommend this office at all.

  This practice was recommended to me by a co worker when I found out I was pregnant. But after seven months of waiting over an hour past my appointment times and not feeling informed or cared about, I am now having to find a new OB in my seventh month of pregnancy. The doctors at this practice were nice, but rushed through every appointment I had. This is my first pregnancy so I had little information on what to expect and what things I should and shouldn't be doing and I wasn't sure what information I should be given. Needless to say, if you want to spend hours in the waiting room and less than five minutes with the doctors each time you visit, this is the place for you.
