  I've had Dr. Carrillo for the duration of my third child's pregnancy and delivery. She was always very honest & direct, which I appreciated. She is fiercely committed to patient health and is well read on the information in her field. Three years later, she found a nodule on my thyroid that ended up being cancer while it was quite small and early. Thanks to her thorough examination & order for an ultrasound at my well woman exam I can have a short & simple journey with thyroid cancer! Had she not been concerned with my whole being my cancer could have progressed and caused much more damage with lingering consequences. I wish I could have her here with me in MO after our recent move.

  She never talked to me about anything and wouldn't explain things to me. She treated me and my SO like we didn't need to know anything. At my 14week visit she hurt me while doing a pelvic exam and I was cramping for 2 days. She judged us because we are young and I dye my hair fun colors. You could see her make faces when we talked about our age or when I came in with a new hair color. I'm 25weeks and just switched because there is no way I will let her deliver my baby. I will never go back or recommend her to anyone. Awful doctor! Also if you try to cancel your appt they try to force you to reschedule "because you NEED to be seen" for 2 seconds to find my baby's hb? Because that's literally all that happened when they said I NEEDED to come in. Just hang up if you're in that situation. They just want money.

  I am forever grateful for having Dr. Carrillo as my physician. I was new here in Arizona and I needed to get an annual exam. Due to her thorough examination, not only did she find that I needed to have a hysterectomy, but she saw that I had an enlarged thyroid. She ordered tests and referred me to an oncologist after we saw the results. It turned out I had a huge tumor in my thyroid and it was cancerous. I had surgery and it was removed. My cancer was caught in time and did not spread. I was told that I have had the tumor for a while due to the size. No other doctor have caught it. It is a blessing that I saw Dr. Carrillo. She saved my life.
